Ingredients
- Pan size: 9x13
- Parchement paper (optional)
- 1 cup (2 sticks) of salted butter - melted
- 1 1/2 cups of all purpose flour*
- 1 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 10-12 ounces jar of strawberry preserves
Directions
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Spray the pan with cooking spray.
- (optional) feel free to use parchement paper if you like.
- Mix together flour, butter, oats, brown sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Press half the oats mixture into the prepared pan.
- Spread with the strawberry preserves.
- Sprinkle the other half of the oat mixture over the top and pat lightly.
- Bake until light brown (30-40 minutes).
- Let cool completely before cutting into squares.
